Dr Deep Datta Ray is appointed as Visiting Senior Fellow with RSIS from 12 July 2019 to 31 December 2021.
Dr Datta Ray holds a Ph.D in International Relations from University of Sussex, United Kingdom. He is currently an Associate Professor at O.P. Jindal Global University, India. Earlier, he worked as a business consultant and wrote extensively for newspapers, such as South China Morning Post and the Times of India. He is the author of The Making of Indian Diplomacy (OUP, New York) and his recent chapter in the Routledge Handbook of Postcolonial Politics can be found at http://bit.ly/2N11SGs. His research interests include diplomatic practice, nuclear policy, and non-Western International Relations theory.
