The Pulwama Attack’s After Effects: Fake News And Rumors – Analysis
Research analyst Mohammed Sinan Siyech at the International Centre for Political Violence and Terrorism Research, RSIS, wrote that the terrorist attack in Kashmir, which resulted in the death of more than 40 members of the Central Reserve Police Force, has generated fresh tensions between India and Pakistan. In the current atmosphere where emotions are running high, the media, politicians and the general public all have a role to play in denying the space for rumours and fake news to proliferate.
