Pacific Forum invited our Benjamin Ang to speak at the first public session of Pacific Forum’s United States-Singapore Cyber & Tech Security Virtual Series, held with support from the US Embassy Singapore on November 17,2020 (USA)/November 18, 2020 (Asia)

NATO Stratcom COE invited leading experts like our Dr Gulizar Haciyakupoglu to discuss the dynamics of the Asian information environment and larger effects of the Asian disinformation ecosystem on an international level.

Institut français des relations internationales invited our Benjamin Ang to the online debate “Technology and security: adapting to changing cyber security threats in East Asia” to discuss
• Comparative analysis of cyber threats and their evolution in East Asia
• Digitization of critical infrastructure and growing security risks
• Conceiving of and preparing for cyber warfare

UNIDIR invited our Eugene EG Tan to 2024 Cyber Stability Conference: Unpacking Cyber Threats to International Peace & Security (Day 2.1) to speak on the panel How different types of malicious cyber activities impact the implementation of the framework of responsible State behaviour? How can such framework be used to prevent, disrupt or mitigate such impact? What other mechanisms outside of the UN could be leveraged?

International Conference on Cohesive Societies invited our Ms Teo Yi-Ling to moderate the Breakout Session – Cohesion 2: Connectivity & Connectedness which examined good practices and case studies about people who have used online platforms to build connections between different groups of people and strengthen social cohesion. The session was also used to understand what social media companies have been doing to promote social cohesion.
