Economic Multilateralism

The research areas include:

• Trade, monetary, and financial integration in ASEAN, ASEAN+3, South Asia, and Central Asia;
• Evolving linkages between various Asian sub-regions and with countries/sub-regions outside the region such as the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC), Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP), and Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP);
• Developments in the global economic architecture, including the Group of Twenty (G20), to ensure complementarity between global and regional initiatives.
