The Centre of Excellence for National Security (CENS) is organising the 14th Asia-Pacific Programme for Senior National Security Officers (APPSNO) from 23 – 28 April 2023. CENS is a constituent research unit of the S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies (RSIS) at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, which conducts inter-disciplinary research within the broad domains of homeland security and resilience. It is also the academic partner of the National Security Coordination Secretariat (NSCS) in the Prime Minister’s Office.
Held in Singapore, APPSNO brings together senior national security policymakers from the Asia-Pacific and beyond. APPSNO aims to provide a platform for discussion, deliberation, and reflection on emergent issues, trends, and approaches to managing national security. APPSNO also presents participants an opportunity to network with local and international security experts and practitioners. The week-long programme includes: (a) presentations by international and local experts; (b) break-out sessions; and (c) special educational visits to places of interest.
