The Digital Defence Symposium brings together ASEAN and non-ASEAN senior defence and military officials, academics, think tanks, and private sector experts to discuss common digital security challenges faced by the defence sectoral on a regular basis.
Organised by the S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies (RSIS), NTU, Singapore and the ADMM Cybersecurity and Information Centre of Excellence (ACICE), this collaborative effort aims to support defence diplomacy and enhance multilateral cooperation in safeguarding the region’s peace and security from digital threats such as cyberattacks and disinformation.
The theme of the 4th Digital Defence Symposium is “Building Digital and Information Resilience: Technology, Norms, and the Cyber Information Continuum”. It will explore issues such as cognitive resilience vis-à-vis threats in the information domain, the nexus between cyber and information threats in defence and lessons from the frontlines of digital threats and emerging technology issues relevant to the defence sectoral.
The 4th Digital Defence Symposium will take place in conjunction with the 4th ASEAN Roundtable on Navigating the Digital Space for senior ASEAN defence officials and 5th Advisory Board Meeting of the ACICE, as stated on the ASEAN Defence Ministers’ Meeting (ADMM) calendar for 2026, and together with the 7th Expert Panel Meeting of the ACICE.
