Synopsis
The Centre of Excellence for National Security (CENS) is organising a workshop from 28 to 29 September 2017 in Singapore on ISIS and its Afterlives. It aims to: (a) assess the current state of the global jihadist threat; (b) examine best practices in countering violent extremism (CVE); (c) explore the future development of both jihadist and non-jihadist violent extremism; and (d) conceptualise policy recommendations to enhance CVE initiatives.
