Navigating Global Security Threats: Terrorism, Radicalisation, and Emerging Technologies
Terrorism, radicalisation, and emerging technologies continue to pose complex and evolving challenges to global security. Both state and non-state actors can and have exploited new technologies including digital platforms to advance their agendas.
This workshop brings together experts to provide critical updates on terrorism trends in Southeast Asia, Syria, Iran, and Africa, right-wing extremism and other global threats such as 3D printed weapons. They will also discuss strategies for countering online hate in the current digital landscape.
Who Should Attend
Policymakers, academics, and other experts who are: (a) concerned about hybrid threats, (b) focused on their sociopolitical implications, and (c) interested in efforts to counter these threats.
