Seminar Abstract
The rapid advancement of technology has transformed how we live, work, and interact, making the internet a cornerstone of daily life. However, the rise of online activities has also led to an increase in cybercrimes, posing significant risks to individuals, businesses, and national security. In Malaysia alone, approximately SGD 367 million was lost to cybercriminals between January and October 2024, reflecting the urgent need for stronger safeguards.
This seminar will delve into the nation’s efforts to enhance digital safety. From legislative reforms and public awareness campaigns to fostering international collaborations, Malaysia is committed to creating a secure and inclusive online environment. Participants will gain insights into Malaysia’s challenges, opportunities, and innovative initiatives in shaping the future of cyberspace
