About Executive Education

Since its establishment in 1996 as the Institute of Defence and Strategic Studies (IDSS), which was later inaugurated as the S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies (RSIS) in 2007, executive education has been an integral component of RSIS’ mission. Serving as a crucial element in institution building and talent development, RSIS leverages its academic and research strengths, emphasising smart networking and outreach innovations. RSIS recognises the imperative for lifelong learning and adaptability in a changing world. Positioned as a think tank within a world-class university, RSIS has continually evolved, demonstrating a steadfast commitment to executive education. Expanding its reach, in 2023, RSIS applied its expertise to the private sector, developing a dedicated executive programme for a multinational corporation based in Singapore. Through applied research, RSIS employs a distinctive approach, elucidating the dynamic intersections between geopolitics, enterprise, and industry issues.
