Alif Satria is an Associate Research Fellow at the International Centre for Political Violence and Terrorism Research (ICPVTR). Prior to joining ICPVTR in 2023, he obtained an MA in Security Studies from Georgetown University and worked at the Centre for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) Jakarta for five years. His research focuses on terrorism and political violence in Indonesia, specifying in organizational resilience, offline and online radicalization processes, and patterns of collective violence in Indonesia. His work has been published in edited book chapters, peer-reviewed journals such as Perspectives on Terrorism and Global Responsibility to Protect, and various popular media.
