Claribel Low is an Associate Research Fellow with the Social Cohesion Research Programme at the S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies (RSIS) of Nanyang Technological University. She holds a Master of Science in Asian Studies from RSIS where she specialised in the comparative study of religion and interreligious relations in plural societies as well as a Bachelor of Social Sciences (Honours) in Sociology and English Language from the National University of Singapore. Her research interests include critical religion, interreligious relations, religious nationalism, religion-state relations, secularism and the sociology of knowledge.
