Biography

Ms Yen Zhi Yi is a Senior Analyst in the National Security Studies Programme at the S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies (RSIS), Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. Zhi Yi is a recent graduate from RSIS with an MSc in Asian Studies. She holds a Bachelor of Science in International Relations with Spanish from the London School of Economics and Political Science (2022). Prior to joining RSIS, she was a writer at Mothership, where she conducted research and wrote articles on regional news. Additionally, she fronted short explainer videos on regional politics and issues.
