In this issue, RSIS marks its 20th anniversary with a lunch celebration with staff and students. The National Security Studies Programme (NSSP), which is coordinated by Associate Professor Kumar Ramakrishna, was launched in April to foster and enhance intellectual capital pertaining to the milestone episodes in Singapore’s diplomatic and security history. The RSIS Alumni Indonesia Chapter was kick-started with an inaugural meeting attended by its members, Ambassador Ong Keng Yong, Executive Deputy Chairman of RSIS, and Mr Phillip Ee, President of the RSIS Alumni Association. This year marks the 18th edition of the Asia Pacific Programme for Senior Military Officers, held at Village Hotel Changi.
