Mr Hitoshi Tanaka delivered the S. T. Lee Distinguished Annual Lecture on 8 February 2017, recommending a multi-layered functional cooperation to manage the geopolitical instability in East Asia. Her Excellency Retno L. P. Marsudi spoke on Indonesia’s foreign policy under the Jokowi Administration. The 11th APPSNO was held at the Marina Mandarin Singapore, touching on the topic of “Innovation and National Security”. Dr Farish A. Noor spent two weeks in Japan, speaking at several seminars and interacting with his Japanese associates.
