- Strategic Currents: “Triggered” and “Mobilised”
This book offers a unique exploration of the shifting nature of identities and their broader implications. As times change, people’s identities and ideologies have evolved, expanding the scope of national cohesion and security. It delves into four such ideologies — Far-Right Extremism, Hindutva, the Woke Movement, and Environmental/Climate Activism — examining their rise and impact.
Strategic Currents: “Triggered” and “Mobilised” analyses how today’s youth are being influenced or mobilised toward various forms of extremism. The youth of Singapore are not immune to this trend; the easy access to global information accelerates the process of self-radicalisation. This book offers insights into how best to mitigate these risks and protect social cohesion.
